The Mercedes-Benz EQB is an all-new electric vehicle (EV) for the 2022 model year. This powerful EV offers a great all-electric range and an elegant interior packed with luxurious features to help make your ride more comfortable. You can get the EQB in two trim levels: Exclusive and Pinnacle. Two electric drivetrains are also available for each trim: 300 and 350.
The Exclusive and the Pinnacle are both upscale and beautifully designed but do come with a few differences. If you're looking for something spacious enough for the entire family but want to switch to electric, the new EQB series of EVs may be an excellent choice.
All-Electric Power
An impressive 420-volt lithium-ion battery with 66.5 kWh capacity can be found on the EQB 300 and the EQB 350. Each has a pair of electric motors and a standard 4MATIC® all-wheel-drive system. This helps make it easier to navigate in various weather conditions. With the EQB 300, you'll get up to 225 horsepower and 288 pound-feet of torque, while the 350 offers 288 horsepower and 324 pound-feet of torque. An adaptive suspension system makes every ride smoother.
When it comes to range, you'll be able to go up to 260 miles on a full charge, making it easy to take a full day of driving from work to school or the store. The Eco Assist System helps to save energy by predictively computing driving and monitoring battery life. It also takes into account factors such as intersections and hills, which can have an impact on energy consumption. Navigation with Electric Intelligence will factor your maximum charging power and the duration of stopping to charge into your route navigation.
Convenient Charging Options
The EQB 300 and EQB 350 offer convenient charging options to make your life easier at home and on the road. A 240-volt wall box will charge 10% to 100% in 7.5 hours in the comfort of your home. This charging method makes it easy to plug your EV in before bed, so it's ready to go with a full battery in the morning. When you need something more robust to hit the road faster, this is when the quick charging method comes in. With a DC fast charger, you can charge from 10% to 80% in only 32 minutes.
Advanced Exclusive Technology
Various advanced technology features inside the Mercedes-Benz EQB provide the driving and entertainment experience you deserve in a vehicle. You'll get the new-generation MBUX multimedia system with keyword activation, such as “Hey Mercedes,” and natural language understanding. The built-in navigation system comes with augmented reality and is available on the 10.25-inch infotainment display. You can connect to your phone wirelessly thanks to Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto® integration.
You'll also get a 10.25-inch driver information display. The Pinnacle trim level comes with a Burmester®[1] premium audio system. Elegant Design
The new EQB offers an elegant design with high-end features inside and out, as well as luxurious comfort inside and various advanced technology features. Accenting and design options include rose gold interior accents and bright metal trim to catch the eye without being overbearing. Seating is finished with supple leather, and a convenient 40/20/40 split seat backrest can create an additional two seats for seating up to seven people.
A heat pump is found near the batteries to take the excess heat from the electric drivetrain and send it to the cabin when the weather is cold to help save battery power. An additional 23 cubic feet of trunk space makes it easy to haul groceries, sporting equipment, luggage, or whatever else you need for your day.
Electricity also flows through the exterior, with blue-colored headlights within the headlamps and a horizontal fiber-optic strip. This strip is located within the black panel front grille. The power tailgate makes it easier to load and unload or fold the seats up and down as needed. With the Pinnacle, you'll also get a panoramic sunroof to let in fresh air or sunshine as you wish. A distinctive design has been sculpted for the exterior of the EQB, making a mark for Mercedes all its own.
