Performance

Engineers upgraded the previous generation's engine to a turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine with mild hybrid technology paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. This gas powertrain makes 255 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque while you get an additional electric boost from the 48-volt mild hybrid tech.

You get smooth, effortless shifting and power-on-demand with the electronic nine-speed transmission. Steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters offer a more spirited driving experience, while three overdrive ratios let you refine your cruising speeds.

Rear-drive models deliver natural sport-inspired balance. However, upgrading to the 4MATIC AWD GLC SUV lets you take on more adventurous pathways. The Mercedes-Benz 4MATIC system continuously monitors all four wheels and adjusts power output to maximize traction over various surfaces and weather conditions.

In addition, the GLC SUV powertrain offers four drive modes to tune your throttle, shift points, steering, and suspension to suit your mood or the road. Driver-Assist Features
